Off the grid… Down Under in Dubai with Jacob’s Creek and The Huntr
Holly recently attended the Our Table event in the Barossa Valley but before she went on her grand adventure, she hosted her very own #OurTableUAE event at her home in Jumeirah, Dubai.
Her theme “Australian Foodie” was a sumptuous menu carefully crafted and paired with our Jacob’s Creek selection.
A starter of squid ink tuiles, crab meat, scallop mousseline, black caviar, and gold leaf was complemented by the ever fresh and zesty Jacob’s Creek Pinot Grigio, followed by a Tasmanian Salmon course with a lemon myrtle cucumber sorbet paired with Le Petit Rose.
The main course of Wagyu rib eye, truffle mash, charred onions, caramelized onion gel, pencil leeks was topped off with a thyme jus and the JC Reserve Barossa Shiraz. And, of course, there must always be a dessert, which was a gorgeous concoction of coconut dacquoise, peanut butter shortbread, dulce de leche, salted caramel, vanilla, guava sorbet, caramelised popcorn, lime chocolate parfait. The course was served with a chocolate spiral paired with Jacob’s Creek Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.
