Jacob’s Creek Heritage
In 1847, a young Bavarian immigrant named Johann Gramp planted the
Barossa Valley’s first commercial vineyard on the banks of Jacob’s
Creek. His first vintage was in 1850 and he continued to make wine
in his small ironstone winery beside Jacob’s Creek until his
death at the age of 84. The Heritage Collection is a fitting tribute to
the brand’s rich history, showcasing outstanding examples of
benchmark regional varietal Australian wines, and includes the Jacob’s
Creek Johann Shiraz Cabernet, Jacob’s Creek St. Hugo Coonawarra
Cabernet Sauvignon, Jacob’s Creek Centenary Hill Shiraz, Jacob’s
Creek Reeves Point Chardonnay, and the Jacob’s Creek Steingarten
Riesling. |
Jacob’s Creek Sparkling
Grapes used in the Jacob’s Creek Sparkling range have
been sourced from both cool and warmer grape growing regions
to ensure richness and depth of varietal fruit flavour and are
all well known for producing quality sparkling wines. Our goal
is to produce a wine of consistency and quality, in keeping
with the Jacob’s Creek philosophy. |
